Laboratory

The Jamsaz Laboratory, a subsidiary of Jamsaz Industry and Manufacturing Engineering Company, was established in 1991 for conducting automotive lighting tests. In 2012, after implementing the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, the laboratory received its Certificate of Compliance with the Quality Management System requirements from the National Accreditation Center of Iran (NACI). It had also obtained its first designation as a Jamsaz “Accredited Partner Laboratory” in 2008 from the Alborz Provincial Office of the Institute of Standards.

To provide services to both internal and external customers, the laboratory utilizes skilled personnel and up-to-date testing equipment specialized for the automotive lighting industry. The reference standards used for testing comply with national and international standards such as ISIRI, PSA, KES, ECE, ISO, ASTM, JIS, and IEC, or technical documents supplied by the customer.


The laboratory’s scope of work includes measurement of luminous intensity (candela), illuminance (lux), light distribution of lamps (isolux), retro-reflective performance testing, and mechanical, electrical, thermal, cold, and chemical tests in the field of lighting systems for various types of vehicles.
